Job Description

Responsibilities:

5 years direct experience installing, configuring, and managing CICS software, CICS application regions, and ISV software.
Preferred 3 years installing, configuring and managing zOS Connect regions for both inbound and outbound APIs.
Preferred 2 years installing, configuring, and managing any of the following TPX software and started tasks EOS software and started tasks and CA GEN desktop, desktop and server runtimes, host encyclopedia, and zOS components.

Must Have Skills:

Nice to have skills:

Preferred 2+ years installing, configuring, and managing any of the following TPX software and started tasks EOS software and started tasks and CA GEN desktop, desktop and server runtimes, host encyclopedia, and zOS components.
Ability to create new CICS regions, started tasks, and address spaces and to migrate new transaction definitions.

Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the Subcon to shoulder and execute:

Working knowledge of SMPE software installation process, analyzing PTFs and HOLDDATA, triaging HIPER, FIXCAT, and PEd PTFs.
Maintaining software currency and semiannual maintenance migration to development, QA, and production CICS regions.
Working knowledge of CICS parameters and internals to optimize functionality and performance as well as to resolve incidents.
Work with IBM and ISV providers to provide timely resolution to more complex issues.
Understanding of Travelers business groups
