Lead Consultant – Infrastructure Management | Database Administration | MS SQL Server

Job Description

Must Have Skills:

Install, configure, performance tune, and scale multi-node SQL Clusters and Availability Groups.
Perform SQL upgrades, security updates, and cumulative updates within release cycles to maintain platform supportability.
Experience with automated build and deployment of SQL using PowerShell or scripted solutions.
Experience with ETL, maintenance plans, and stored procedures.
Ability to work with application owners and vendors to perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Responsible for working assigned tasks or tickets using ServiceNow ticketing system in accordance with defined SLAs.
Experience supporting TSF, SSRS, SSIS, and Central Management Server.
Provide database support to upstream and downstream teams.
Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing methodologies.
Provide input into overall development/implementation plans and document database builds and changes.

MongoDB:

Advanced knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, MariaDB, HBase, etc.
Creation and implementation of fully functional NoSQL database clusters.
Ability to maintain multiple development, QA, and production NoSQL environments with strong performance tuning experience.
Implement high availability solutions and define backup/recovery strategies.
Assist with the design of redundant systems, policies, and procedures for disaster recovery to ensure effective data protection and integrity.
Expert in planning and implementing capacity and resource expansion for database scalability.
Expert in performing database upgrades and migrations.
Provide day-to-day administration support and maintenance for existing and new NoSQL databases.
Perform debugging, tuning, performance enhancement, and automation of operational and CI aspects of the NoSQL platform.
