Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer

Location: Urbandale, IA – 100% Remote

Duration 12 Months

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, develop, configure, and maintain Gosu application code and configuration elements within Guidewire Studio
Ability to provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and support
Understand the exact Client Business Needs, check the technical Feasibility to achieve the requirements, and communicate the same to the team, thereby producing quality deliverables expected by the client
On-site Offshore Coordination for resolving production Incidents
Review the Offshore Development work in the Areas of PCF Configuration, Business Rules, and Data Model Creation
Managing and communicating team status to Onsite Management
Technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter in production
Coordinating with the team to analyze defects
Coordinate with other service providers and integration owners to make sure the applications are up and running
Proposing Configuration and Integration Solutions and estimating the effort for the same as part of the User Story requirements
Interact with Analysts and Business Users to translate functional specifications into technical design for implementation and deployment

Technical Skills:

Guidewire Policy Center experience for implantation and state rollouts
Design, develop, and unit test solutions using the Guidewire Rating Module
Define and develop a rating engine and related changes in system
Configuration for state-specific forms, rating business rules, PCF changes, and integrations
Create solution design recommendations and estimates, and effectively present solution options for implementation
3 years of development experience in Guidewire Policy Center and demonstrated ability with GOSU programming
Acquire training in or demonstrate Guidewire-related skillsets like Guidewire plugins, Gosu script, and suite integration
