POOL OF CANDIDATES
All applicants are required to complete a thorough employment application, which details their previous background, including, but not limited to, education, employment and references. We verify the education and employment background of every applicant and check a minimum of two references to verify skills, quality of work and reliability.
- Each applicant is given a comprehensive skill test, including typing, shorthand speed, grammar, spelling and math. Their word processing and computer skills are tested on actual equipment using our software assessment system.
- Our office conducts computerized tests to verify the word processing proficiency of each applicant. Applicants are tested not only for software proficiency, but also for speed, accuracy and knowledge of advanced functions. This hands-on testing enables us to evaluate each applicant more effectively.
- All candidates with word processing experience undergo our automated skill assessment program. Hands-on testing is provided in WordPerfect 5.1 and Microsoft Word and Windows 98/2000. Whenever applicable, SANS conducts WEB based testing in specific skills or software.
- We perform an extensive and structured interview to discuss the applicant's work and education history. Our counselors work closely with each candidate in order to consider their professional goals prior to placing them on assignments to ensure a perfect fit with our clients' needs and expectations.
- Our employees' performance is constantly monitored and reviewed and their skills reevaluated.
